2009 ANZAME ‘Bridging Professional Islands’ Conference
The conference will highlight both the need for and the current focus on a collaborative approach to health professional education. What is already happening? What are the plans for the future? Is an inter-professional agenda needed? What is the relationship between discipline areas? How do we cope with increased student numbers and changing dynamics?
Tasmania, the island state, is a microcosm of the health workforce education issues facing Australia, New Zealand and many other parts of the world; come and engage in stimulating debate and open discussion; come and walk the bridge together.
Authors are invited to submit abstracts; see the website for full descriptions of the presentation formats. Abstracts are due by 6 February 2009.
