VIC Branch | Emerging leaders summit

VIC Branch | Emerging leaders summit

You are cordially invited to attend the Emerging Leader Summit, a one-of-a-kind event designed for up-and-coming leaders like you.

This is an opportunity for emerging leaders to spend a day with experienced leaders, to gain some insight from them about their leadership journey and the skills and characteristics that make a leader successful. For the experienced leaders, it is an opportunity to mentor the up and coming generation of leaders - pass on your knowledge and help to guide their journey.

The programme content will cover the following elements:

  • Motivational interviewing -  Introduction to this technique
  • Business cases - Workshop advice on writing a successful business case.
  • Building connections -Opportunity for attendees to build some connections with other attendees through a hands-on activity
  • Leadership journeys - hear from existing leaders about how they got to where they are, with a focus on the fact there are different types of leaders (e.g. formal and informal positions) and different ways to become a leader.

More information will be available soon!
