Pharmacy Forecast Australia 2021 is SHPA's inaugural strategic thought leadership piece on emerging trends and phenomena projected to impact pharmacy practice and the health of Australian patients to 2026, developed by SHPA utilising ‘wisdom of crowds’ methodology.

Developed by the Pharmacy Forecast Advisory Committee, Pharmacy Forecast Australia 2021 aims to help equip hospital pharmacy departments proactively position themselves and their teams for potential future events with contextualised recommendations by the report’s 13 Theme Leads.

Pharmacy Forecast Australia 2022

Help shape Pharmacy Forecast Australia 2022Pharmacy Forecast Australia is returning in 2022 and you have the chance to help shape this leading strategic planning stimulus!

Central to the success of the inaugural edition was the Pharmacy Forecast Advisory Committee, whose members will again spearhead the preliminary environmental scan and theming and crafting of questions, the responses to which will be distilled into a report on emerging trends and phenomena projected to impact pharmacy practice and the health of Australian patients to 2027. 

EoIs are now open for two additional positions on the Pharmacy Forecast Advisory Committee, to participate in workshops later this year and meetings held monthly, editing and authorship recognition and a prominent role in the launch of Pharmacy Forecast Australia 2022 in May of next year.
