Join us to hear our exciting range of speakers discuss topics including Acute Stroke Management, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, and Stroke and Rehabilitation: a day in the life of a speech pathologist

Learning objectives:

  • Manage patients with acute stroke and be aware of secondary prevention options
  • Recognise the role for allied health input in post stroke care
  • Develop a practical approach to the rehabilitation management of stroke patients
  • Formulate an approach to the treatment options and management patients with Parkinson’s disease
  • Appreciate the role of pharmacists in the management of Parkinson’s disease
  • Describe the epidemiology, aetiology and pathophysiology of Multiple Sclerosis
  • Evaluate and understand the current and emerging pharmacology treatments available in multiple sclerosis
