Learning Objectives:

At the end of the seminar, participants will be able to:

  • Understand how medical practitioners assess and manage patients’ fluid and electrolyte needs.
  • Outline the difference between routine maintenance and replacement.
  • Identify the types of intravenous fluids and electrolytes commonly used in practice.
  • Describe the pharmacists role in managing fluid and electrolyte imbalance.
