The shpaclinCAT seminar is designed for pharmacists with significant and recent clinical experience and proven teaching/ mentoring skills who wish to implement shpaclinCAT competency-based evaluations in their workplace. Delegates will get an insight into the national drivers for competency based evaluations, understand how to use the shpaclinCAT in practice and receive training in feedback and evaluation techniques. Implementation strategies that can be used at individual sites will be discussed during the course of this highly interactive weekend.

1. Undertake an shpaclinCAT evaluation
2. Use shpaclinCAT to drive self-reflection, as training and teaching tool and to facilitate change to clinical practice
3. Understand the principles of giving feedback and acquire practical skills in giving effective feedback
4. Observe, record and synthesise information to construct feedback
5. Apply change management principles to embed shpaclinCAT evaluations in their workplace culture
