Troubleshooting
The medical nature and content of SHPA communications, combined with strict spam filters, can sometimes result in SHPA emails not reaching member inboxes. The below tips include what members can do to alleviate these issues and help ensure communications from SHPA, OnlineCPD or Election Runner are received.

I am not receiving communications from SHPA
- Double-check your listed email address is correct. You can check your email address via My Dashboard.
- Ensure your relevant Communication Preferences are active. You can check your communication preferences via My Dashboard.
- Check your spam or junk email folders. To help avoid mail being sent to junk, add @shpa.org.au to your Safe Senders List within your email program (see how to add to Safe Sender List in Microsoft Outlook).
- Create a new contact for SHPA with the email address noreply@shpa.org.au.
- Ask your organisation for help. If you are using a business email address, ask your organisation’s IT department or service desk to whitelist our domain name shpa.org.au.
I am not receiving communications from OnlineCPD (onlinecpd.shpa.org.au)
- Double-check your email address listed is correct. This address is listed under Profile > Preferences > User Account > Edit profile.
- Check your spam or junk email folders. To help avoid mail being sent to junk, add @shpa.org.au to your Safe Senders List within your email program (See how to add to Safe Sender List in Microsoft Outlook).
- Create a new contact for SHPA. Add the email address noreply@shpa.org.au.
- Ask your organisation for help. If you are using a business email address, ask your organisation’s IT department or service desk to whitelist our domain name shpa.org.au.
I want to change my OnlineCPD forum notifications (onlinecpd.shpa.org.au)
- Manage your forum digest preferences. Go to Profile > Preferences > User Account > Forum Preferences and change your digest type to receive:
- ‘No digest’ – a single email per forum post (default)
- ‘Complete’ – daily email which contains all posts from forums you are subscribed to
- ‘Subjects’ – a daily email with the subjects of the posts from forums you are subscribed to.
I am receiving too many OnlineCPD emails (onlinecpd.shpa.org.au)
Manage your OnlineCPD email preferences by going to Profile > Preferences > User Account > Forum Preferences. Here you can:
- Change what types of emails you receive
- Choose to receive them when you're logged in/out of OnlineCPD
- Disable notifications completely.
I am not receiving communications from Election Runner
- Check your spam or junk email folders. To help avoid mail being sent to junk, add @shpa.org.au and @electionrunner.com to your Safe Senders List within your email program (see how to add to Safe Sender List in Microsoft Outlook).
- Create new contacts for SHPA and Election Runner. Add the email addresses noreply@shpa.org.au and noreply@electionrunner.com.
- Ask your organisation for help. If you are using a business email address, ask your organisation’s IT department or service desk to whitelist the domains shpa.org.au and electionrunner.com.
