The RMH is one of the largest health providers in Australia, providing a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical and mental health services, as well as rehabilitation, aged care, specialist clinics and community programs.

Our 11,000 people embody who we are and what we stand for. Our reputation for caring for all Melburnians is as essential to who we are as any scientific breakthrough we make. We’re here when it matters most, and we’ll continue to be the first to speak out for our diverse community’s wellbeing.

We are a designated state-wide provider for services such as trauma, and we lead centres of excellence for tertiary services in several key specialities including neurosciences, nephrology, cardiology and virtual health.

The RMH Parkville provides general and specialist medical and surgical acute services. Subacute services, including rehabilitation and aged care, specialist clinics and community programs are provided at the RMH Royal Park.

Our mental health services work in partnership with consumers and carers to provide a comprehensive suite of general and specialist services to adult and older adults within the community, residential and health services. We also deliver many state-wide specialist mental health services, including the neuropsychiatry service and the eating disorder service.
